Metroid Prime 4: Beyond brings legendary bounty hunter Samus Aran back in an all-new sci-fi adventure built for Nintendo Switch 2. Following a confrontation with the deadly sharpshooter Sylux, Samus becomes stranded on the mysterious planet Viewros, a world once inhabited by an ancient civilization.

Players must explore dangerous environments, battle hostile alien creatures, uncover secrets, and search for a way home. Use Samus’s arsenal of advanced weapons, scanning technology, psychic abilities, and the high-tech Vi-O-La bike to navigate and survive the planet’s many threats.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition introduces enhanced visuals, improved frame rates, faster load times, and immersive mouse-style aiming using the Joy-Con 2 controller. Players can choose between two graphical display modes:

• Quality Mode:
  4K at 60 FPS while docked, and 1080p in handheld mode
• Performance Mode:
  1080p at 120 FPS while docked, and 720p in handheld mode

Both display modes support HDR for richer visuals and smoother gameplay.
